Hollis (Fairfax County, Virginia)
There are records for a John Hollis, a Burrell Hollis and a William Hollis of Fairfax County that served with George Washington. It is not known if the John noted is the father of Burrell and William or if they are all brothers. One of these men is my direct Hollis ancestor or a descendant of my direct Hollis ancestor - the records are not definitive.
