Reverend Samuel Hart - Chaplain of the 3rd SC Reg't. Continental Troops during the Revolutionary War; Assistant Rector of the Parish Church of St. Michael, Charleston, SC 1765-1770.  This church is probably the oldest surviving structure in Charleston, SC; Then he was the Rector of the St. John's (Biggin) Parish Church, Monck's Corner, SC; Rev. James Lemon - James and his wife Mary Telford Lemon were 2 of the original 8 founders of Decatur Presbyterian Church, Decatur, GA on October 29, 1825.  James and his father Robert are listed in the original incorporation papers as trustees; Soldier in the War of 1812, serving in Nash's Regiment, SC.; One of the earliest non-native American settlers of DeKalb County, GA arriving before the county was formed in the early 1820s.  James then moved to Cobb County, GA where he owned quite a bit of land in what is currently downtown Acworth, GA; James and Mary are the parents of Captain James Lile Lemon.; James is my 3rd great-grand uncle (Paternal).
