Clements Family of Jackson County, Georgia

(This page (and the links contained on this page) is a "work-in-progress" - please check back frequently)

My Clements ancestors arrived in Jackson County, Georgia around 1802.  They were in Pendleton District, South Carolina (circa 1790) prior to moving to Georgia.  They then moved from Jackson County (GA) to Carroll County (GA) and then on to Randolph County, Alabama.  Their descendants then moved to Louisiana and Texas.  At this point in my research, I do not have any firm data on where they were before they arrived in Pendleton District.

Please use this page as a guide for my research to date. I have organized my work based on geographic area and then by name or subject.  My suggestion would be to visit the pages in the order shown here in order to follow the progression of the family from area to area.
